I can't wait until June 1, 2012 - 305 West High
Our hunt for houses began our sophomore year at Rowan University. We contacted a realtor, Liz Quam, who took us through whatever houses she still had available for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year. With no luck finding a house we decided to wait another year. During our junior year we began looking again for a house for 2012-2013, our senior year. Again, Liz offered to show us more houses, one being a five bedroom, two bathroom house on Villanova Road.
The minute we saw this house, we knew we wanted it. It was a cozy rancher in a nice area of Glassboro. Although the living room and kitchen were small, there were five huge bedrooms. With a never ending backyard and a spacey basement this house was ideal. She sent us the lease, assuring us she wouldn’t show the house to anyone else. A few weeks later our parents drove down to Rowan to tour the house and figure out an agreement about the rent. Liz had told our parents she would look over prices and let us know the lowest price she could rent this house to us. "I can't wait!" I remember saying.
A phone call later in the week brought a big surprise. Another group of girls went through the house, ready to sign the lease. Liz went against her word and gave our house away. We were furious, upset, in shock, and felt very much betrayed. There had to be something we could do, but it was too late. Another group of girls signed the lease and we were the last to know. This was supposed to be our house. Now what?

Meet the Roommates
Alyssa and I will be sharing Room #3. Although the map can be deceiving it is the largest bedroom. Laid back Alyssa takes life as it comes to her and loves cracking jokes. She's friendly and always down to do anything. Together we like to go on adventures and create raps. But, leave us alone together and you're asking for trouble. One time we sporadically went into Pet Smart to buy the new house pet, Feolix the fish.

Rachel aka "the mom" of the house. Having a stressful day? Rachel is always there to give her motherly advice. The house is a mess? Don't worry, Rachel is there cleaning the counters and mopping the floors. Although a clean freak, we don't know where our lives would be without her. She is definitely one of a kind. Her personality is an "I don't care if you like me" attitude, but she will always be there for her best friends.

Jocelyn, the party animal. Some might not understand her sarcastic personality, but we find her hilarious. Jocelyn is a pretty dedicated student. We hardly see her during the week because she is busy working or studying hard in her history textbooks. I can't wait to live with Jocelyn because she is the only one who I have not lived with before. Although it may take awhile for us all to adjust, I think we will all have a great time living together.
