"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better
to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." - Marilyn Monroe
Currently at Rowan University studying Elementary Education with a dual major in Writing Arts and a concentration in Special Education. My family and friends mean the world to me, I don't know where I would be without them. I am the first born, but not the only. My younger brother and sister only add craziness into my life.
I grew up loving soccer and miss playing. I live for summer - you will always find me at the beach. I am probably the most indecisive person you will ever meet and trip over anything and everything. I can't dance or sing, yet I still proudly belt out tunes at the top of my lungs..my roommates hate this. Never thought I could live with a group of girls and survive, but truth is my roommates know me better than I even know myself. I try to make the best of every situation and believe everything happens for a reason.
During the summers I am a camp counselor by day and a waitress at Cheeseburger in Paradise by night (and beach on my days off!). I'm very independant and cannot wait to have a full time job, working with children..although I don't want to rush my life. I have always been extremely apprehensive about my writing arts dual major, but I stuck with it because I love to write. I can honestly say the classes I took last semester, and those I am currently in, have changed my outlook on writing arts. I realize how essential writing is and the importance of words. To be able to teach that to others is extraordinary. Through class assignments (like Weebly) I’ve fallen even more in love with writing and have never been happier that it is my dual major.
