I am still unclear of the place in my Twitterive. At first it seemed like it was summer, but now I am thinking it might be the anticipation of the future. I am not really sure if the repetend is still the #3. Why is the repetend the #3 to begin with? No idea. I think the repetend could be a countdown or a phrase such as “I can’t wait."
I found Darren's blog post to be extremely helpful. I like how he sums up my presentation by saying, “in her twitterive Rebecca talks about her upcoming summer. But more than summer I feel she is talking about how her past, present, and future have shaped, are continuing to shape, and will forever shape who she is as a person” I feel like I am relating these events, as I talk about them in the past, present, and future, to my life and how they have, are, and will shape me. Actually, he couldn’t have said it any better!
I realized I have a lot of genres to work with, I just need to figure out how I am going to organize my Twitterive. I think I am going to just have to play with different ideas. Do I organize my Twitterive based on the past, present, and future? Or do I organize my Twitterive based on the events, such as my new house, the weddings, and my 21st birthday? As much as I would love to categorize it by past, present, future I feel like that would not work. All the events did not happen the same time in the past. Therefore, the first step I am going to try is organize by events.
Like Alexa's blog post mentions I plan on including a countdown throughout the various events that are going to occur. Mickey's blog post also had an interesting idea of creating a timeline and plotting the events on this timeline. I might try to experiment with both of these ideas.
I also plan on writing more about the future. What I expect these events to be like and how I am going to feel once these events finally occur. Somehow I need to focus more on the future of these events. Time to start working!
