Through Facebook I was able to capture screen shots of statuses and conversations, which I plan to include in my twitterive. Facebook also has a creative photo editing application called Picnik which I have been using to enhance pictures and generate a variety of fonts.
Google has helped me search for ideas and find various images that I have uploaded on my website. Google Maps allowed me to pin point houses I have visited throughout Glassboro. After, I simply took a screen shot and uploaded it onto Weebly.
On YouTube I was able to upload a video, which I recorded from my camera. Setting up a YouTube account was very confusing. I wasn't sure how to upload the video and then add it onto my website, but I figured it out!
Last but not least, is Weebly, the newest website to me. At first I was very confused and didn't know how to arrange anything on a page. I was overwhelmed. However, after playing around and experimenting with the many different tools Weebly offers I actually came to find this project very interesting. The only time I became frustrated with Weebly was when I had to move all my work from one page to another. Every time I would move one piece the website took me directly to that new page; it was time consuming going back and forth moving one piece of writing at a time.
I have also used programs such as Microsoft Paint, Picnik (application on Facebook), Digital Sticky Notes and My Countdown. So far these have helped me create an engaging and interesting twitterive. In order to include pictures and videos I was able to use my camera (my favorite piece of technology).
To my surprise I haven't many problems with these technologies. Growing up I was into computers and design; I loved taking screen shots, editing pictures, creating videos, and organizing a web page, like MySpace. I knew I was good with using computers and the various technology offered, but I didn't realize until after this project that I actually know more than I thought I did.
